Dr. Claire Griffits
Dr Claire Griffits graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Deakin University in 2016. She went on to complete 3 years hospital training with Barwon Health. Claire obtained her fellowship with the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2022. Claire also has a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Sydney.
Claire has a specialist interest in postnatal care and supporting new parents. She is trained in neuroprotective developmental care and provides evidenced based strategies to help with breastfeeding, infant cry-fuss behaviours, sleep and parental mood concerns. She is passionate about finding flexible and workable strategies which align with individual family’s goals and values.
“I enjoy all aspects of general practice and I am privileged to care for people of all ages. I am particularly interested in preventative health measures and apply holistic lifestyle approaches to improve people’s health.”
Claire grew up in Newcastle, NSW. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young family and her French Bulldog Margaux.

Dr. Kit Rojanabenjawong
Kit graduated from Monash University in 2012. After graduation, he has worked in Ballarat, Geelong and Sydney. Before he started General Practice, Kit worked in many different medical specialties, including Geriatrics, Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics. He did his GP training in Warrnambool and has obtained his fellowship (FRACGP) in 2019. Dr Kit also has a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and a Master of Public Health (MPH). He is a registered Hepatitis B S100 prescriber and a registered prescriber for MS 2 Step (medical termination). His main interests include Sexual Health, Public Health, Chronic Diseases and Paediatrics. He is also passionate about medical education and currently holds an academic appointment with Monash University as GP supervisor for fourth year medical students. He is fluent in both English and Thai and is able to offer consultations in both languages. During free time, he enjoys swimming and traveling.

Dr. Andrew Donald
Dr Andrew Donald completed his medical degree (1984) and postgraduate studies in Epidemiology (2008) at the University of Melbourne. He has been working in General Practice in Melbourne for over 25 years until moving to the Bellarine in 2022.
Andrew has special interests in Epidemiology and Diabetes Mellitus. He also works part time as a GP Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. Outside work, Andrew's interests include running, trailwalking, contemporary/electronic music and spending time with family.

Dr. Tamara Goodwin
Dr Tamara Goodwin joins our practice after completing 12 months with Drysdale Clinic and previous roles with Ballarat Health Services and Barwon Health.
Tamara's special interests include Women’s Health, Child and Adolescent Health, Medical Education and Preventative Medicine, along with Dermatology and minor procedures.
Tamara is a fully qualified Doctor, gaining general practice experience with us over the next 12 months.
Hours: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday 9.00am-5.00pm
Dr Lucia Hadinata
Dr Lucia Hadinata has a special interest in Paediatrics, Adolescence and Womens Health.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, sports (swimming) and baking. Lucia is fluent in Indonesian

Dr. Anna Harris
Anna is originally from the United Kingdom, where she completed her medical training and gained post graduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual Health. Anna completed her training in the UK in 2004 and has been practising as a GP in Australia since 2009. Special areas of interest include women's health - breast feeding issues, perinatal mental health, infant and child health, sexual health issues - small surgical procedures and traditional family primary care. She offers Obstetric Shared Care (care during your pregnancy) with Barwon Health.
Outside of work, Anna is kept busy with her 3 young children.

Dr. Cath Callan
Cath Callan is a Monash graduate who works in general practice. She has completed training in Women’s Health and also tutors in the medical school at Deakin University. Cath is one of three supervisors for Registrars who join our practice to gain experience in general practice.
When she's not working she enjoys travelling with her family and painting.

Dr. Johanne Horman
Jo Horman has been a GP at the East Geelong Medical Centre for 29 years. She trained at Monash University too long ago to quote the years!
She has a keen interest in all aspects of family medicine including preventative medicine, small surgical procedures and counselling.
Jo has lived in Melbourne (McKinnon and Glen Waverley), Moe and Cobram before settling in Geelong. She loves all sports especially the Geelong Cats and Australian Netball Diamonds.
Hours: Tuesday 9.00 - 5.45pm, Thursday 9.00am - 4.15pm, Friday 9.00 - 3.00pm
Dr. Ellie Isom
Dr Ellie Isom graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Medicine in 2018. Ellie completed hospital training at Western and Barwon Health and is now undertaking specialist training in General Practice.
She has completed further training in paediatrics with the Sydney Child Health Program, and has upskilled in skin checks with a Certificate of Dermoscopy. She is a registered prescriber of MS 2-Step (medical termination). Ellie enjoys all aspects of General Practice and special interests include child and adolescent health, fertility and family planning, women's health and dermatology.
Outside of medicine Ellie is kept busy with two young children. In her free time she enjoys playing music including singing and piano, traveling and outdoor sports such as skiing.

Dr. Amanda O'Brien
Amanda O’Brien graduated from Monash University in 1985 and has lived and worked in Geelong since 1986. She has post graduate qualifications in obstetric care and sexual health. She enjoys all aspects of general practice – preventative care, acute illness and chronic disease management. Amanda also supervises our Registrars who are here to gain experience in general practice.
Amanda loves exploring different cultures and has had many travel adventures. (She is a Collingwood supporter).

Dr. Cameron Profitt
Cameron Profitt graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1985 and has lived and worked in Geelong since 1986. He is interested in all aspects of GP work; especially chronic disease management. He has also worked in Forensic Medicine- since 1991. He enjoys tennis and watching the Demons at the MCG - (still talking about Melbourne's Premiership)

Dr. Joseph Virgona
Joseph Virgona founded the East Geelong Medical Centre as a solo practitioner at 40 Ormond Road in June 1983. He was born and educated in Geelong and attended the University of Melbourne where he graduated in 1975 at the age of 23. He trained at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne for 4 years and returned to Geelong in 1980 doing General Practice Locum.
Dr Virgona has interests in Internal medicine, Geriatric medicine, Sports medicine and Industrial medicine. He is married with 6 adult children, follows the Geelong Football Club and in the local leagues – St Joseph’s Football and Netball clubs.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm
Dr. Charles Wilson
Charles Wilson completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne in 1981 and has lived in Geelong since 1983. He joined the East Geelong Medical Centre in 1987. He also supervises Exercise Stress Tests at the Geelong Hospital and tutors second year medical students at Deakin University. He enjoys running and bushwalking.
